Do my files leave my device?
No. Your selected files are processed inside your browser. The website and its libraries still need a connection to load; file contents are not uploaded.
Can I combine and compress at the same time?
Yes. In the PDF tool, choose multiple PDFs, reorder them, and the tool automatically combines and compresses them. Use Add more PDFs to append files. You can use up to 20 files, 50 MB of input and 200 pages per batch.
Will the result look exactly the same?
Compression is lossy. Pages selected for compression become images and lose selectable text. Original content is kept when rasterization would enlarge a file. Combining or rewriting PDFs may lose forms and digital signatures. Keep the originals and inspect every result. Read the PDF guide.
Is a smaller file guaranteed?
No. If compressing a single PDF would enlarge it, we return the original unchanged. Combined PDFs use the smaller of the compression result and an original-page merge; merging may add some overhead. A specific size limit is not guaranteed. The tool shows the result size so you can decide whether to use it.
What image formats can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP images are supported. The image tool saves the compressed result as a JPEG.
